Facilitator Bio

Cherrie Woods is a Baltimore-based PR and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience working with artists and cultural organizations across North America. She has led communications for major exhibitions at the Detroit Institute of Arts and served as the first Director of Marketing & Public Relations at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, where she increased attendance by 10% and launched its most popular program.

In this interactive workshop, PR Guru/ book publicist Cherrie Woods will share relevant and practical PR strategies to help authors develop a public profile for themselves and their books, and ultimately, increase sales.
