As well as campaigns, Eclectic’s founder Cherrie Woods is the master PR teacher via her customized workshops for creative entrepreneurs.

Known as the “PR Guru for Authors,” Cherrie Woods is a seasoned public relations (PR) professional, book publicist, author, and dynamic workshop facilitator with over 20 years of experience.
Cherrie has worked with a wide range of authors across all genres across North America —as well as creative entrepreneurs and small businesses. She has led popular PR workshops at libraries, arts events, writing conferences, festivals, and more and has taught PR for entrepreneurs at college level. For many, Cherrie is their first experience working with a PR professional. She takes pride in demystifying PR and marketing, giving clients the tools and understanding they need to succeed.
“I focus on accessibility and education. Many of my clients are talented, but they need support navigating how PR and marketing can grow their visibility and following.”
Cherrie is the author of Where Do I Start? 10 PR Questions and Answers to Guide Self-Published Authors, and has been featured in The Baltimore Sun, WJZ-TV, Maryland Public TV, WEAA 88.9, SiriusXM, and multiple podcasts.
