Facilitator: Cherrie Woods, Eclectic PR
Cherrie Woods, Communications Consultant and Founder of Eclectic PR will lead an interactive workshop called “Promoting Your Own Book,” where authors will learn how to do their own PR and/or learn what to expect from a publicist, should they be able to afford one. This workshop will also answer some of the key questions authors want to know about PR including the following: How do I choose the right book cover? What is in the electronic media toolkit?
About Cherrie Woods
In the past 15 years, Cherrie Woods has held both staff and management communications positions in the fields of arts and culture, government and PR agencies as well as serving as a PR consultant for individual artists, arts and cultural organizations, and small businesses. Her book, “10 PR Questions and Answers to Guide Self-Published Authors” comes out in January 2016. She is also an award-winning author of “Free to Be Me, Poems on Love, Life and Relationships,” under the pseudonym Cherrie Amour.
